Pizza topped with Scottish Pork Pepperoni
Pizza dough (we love to use our sough dough starter to make ours)
1 onion finely chopped
clove of garlic finely chopped
1 tin of tomatoes
1 Scottish Pork Pepperoni
salt and pepper
rocket salad leaves
First make the sauce for the pizza. Sweat the onions in a little olive oil for 10 minutes, add the garlic and after a few minutes add the tin of tomato. Let it simmer for 15 minutes to a thick sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
Make a base of the pizza dough. We made a big rectangle or you can make a simple round base. Cover the base with a little tomato sauce, tear the mozzarella in small pieces and cover the pizza add slices of Pork Pepperoni and sprinkle with a little olive oil.
Bake in a very hot oven for about 15 minutes. Check carefully as cooking times will depend on your oven. Sprinkle the salad leaves on top and serve.
