Earlier this summer we spend a wonderful evening at the beach celebrating our son’s birthday with friends. Our summer has been very busy and we have not had time to get a holiday but days like these make up for it.
We went to Traigh Beach only an hours drive from us on the Scottish West Coast. We cooked paella over a fire, using our venison chorizo of course and delicious local seafood. Our 14 year old made virgin mojitos and the boys made churros as pudding. After dinner everyone went for a swim under the light of the moon.
It was a magical evening, one to be remembered for a long time.
