Our favourite places to eat in Fort William

Fort William has come a long way in the last few years. So many great places serving delicious local food now. If you are in the area these are our favourites.

We love Garrison West in Fort William Highstreet. A nice lively pub with a fantastic selection of local beers and gins, great to catch up with friends over a drink. They do lovely simple pub food and their charcuterie platter featuring our Venison charcuterie is very popular.

Just outside Fort William at the foot of Ben Nevis is the Ben Nevis Inn. The location is stunning, try to get a seat at the window where you have a fabulous view of Glen Nevis.  During the summer they have live music on Tuesday evenings. Their  delicious starter of our Venison Salami with blue cheese, oatcakes and homemade chilli gin chutney is not too be missed.

To buy our charcuterie head to Delicraft in the Highstreet. They stock a range of our charcuterie and many other delicious foods from all over Scotland. They do pizzas too and their Great Glen Feast Pizza features Tomato Sauce, Grated Mozzarella, Great Glen Venison Salami, Pepperoni, and Chorizo, finished with dots of Basil Pesto.

For the best coffee in town head to The Wildcat, you won’t see our charcuterie on the menu as this is a vegan cafe. This is also the place for zero waste shopping and if you want to take  coffee away make sure you bring your own cup as they do not have one-use takeaway cups.

We are eagerly anticipating the opening of the Black Isle Bar soon. This fantastic bar, already a great success in Inverness is coming to Fort William and will have wood fired pizzas with our Venison salami on the menu.
